DSecure: Firewalls, Spyware, and Viruses – Oh My
A joint study of home computer users, conducted by AOL and the NCSA, found that "1 in 5 [computers] are infected with [a] virus", and "80% of home computers [are] infected with spyware/adware". It also found most people aren’t aware of the problem and many don’t know what spyware, adware, viruses, firewalls, and antivirus software are to begin with (Weinstein).

Duover 1.6.1 Available
InterfaceThis announces version 1.6.1 of Duover, its file synchronization app for Mac OS X.
This version is a maintenance release, and fixed a bug that prevented Duover from launching in some multi-user environments. It is free and recommended to all registered Duover users.

If you synchronize your files frequently – whether between multiple computers or on a single machine – or if you often sync multiple folders at once, you’re probably craving a faster, easier way to do it. You’re in luck. Using Apple’s free Script Menu utility in concert with Duover, our fast, easy-to-use, and inexpensive file synchronization app, you can set up one-click access to all your synchronization tasks – including multiple configurations at once – from the menu bar. It will take a moment to set up, but is easy to use after that.
