March 18: A major upgrade to Duover, our file sync app for Mac OS X, is available today. Duover 1.5 is available for download from InterfaceThis and includes major new functionality:
- Synchronize file deletion and renaming. Track deleted and renamed files in one folder and delete or rename them in the other during synchronization.
- Exact backups. For backups, delete and rename files in the destination folder to match the source.
- Improved reliability for symbolic links. Comparison and synchronization of symbolic links is now much more reliable.
A number of bug fixes and user interface enhancements are also included.
Duover 1.5 is shareware $20 US. Users are permitted a 21-day trial period, and can purchase licenses online.
